coordinating and planning should be referred to the 49ers organization. reporting live, sergio quintana, abc7 news. >> tonight police are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in oakland. happened this morning near 105th and ede avenue. tiffany wilson is live. this all started with an attempted traffic stop? >> yes, it did. now, officers saw a silver volvo wanted in connection to a home invasion robbery and a pistol whipping a weeks ago, but the driver refused to stop, led police on pursuant and eventually bailed out of the car and took out running. oakland police quickly set up a perimeter around 105th and edes, with fog grounding the helicopter they asked alameda county for k-9 support. all this took place around 4:00 a.m. and neighbors were hardly surprised by the activity. >> four in the morning, that's the middle of the day around

here. >> the k-9 unit found the suspect in the yard, and fatal shoots followed. >> he is actually fleeing. shots fired. >> that radio call from a deputy with eight years experience. when asked why he shot, police would no go into detail. >> i understand your question but at this time i can't speak the details of the shooting. >> investigators tried to retrace the suspect's route, hoping to find a firearm. >> certainly we are concerned involving weapons. this vehicle is associated to a home invasion robbery which occurred several weeks ago. facially there was a pistol whipping. >> folks who live in the neighborhood see the man's death as another sign of their community's decay. >> we play dominoes all dayñ/>n long. >> now he has witnessed his nephew and others die from violence. >> puts us older people in danger because we have to live here and we have to travel back

and forth. so, it's a bad thing. >> police have not yet released the identity of the suspect who died. three departments are investigating the shooting. in oakland, tiffany willson, abc7 news. >> san leandro police are asking the public to help them identify man who allegedly raped a teenager in a public restroom. the teenager said it happened at this apartment complex yesterday afternoon. police say there's not a lot the alleged victim could do to prehaven't the attack. officers said the best thing is for people in the area to be the eyes and ears of the community. a description of the suspect is limited. man in his 20s with short black hair. tonight the deadly shelling of a school in gaza by israel is being called a criminal act by the united nations. at least ten people died and 30 more injured in the attack. israel claims it was shooting at three militants riding past the school ongob a motorcycle. u.s. officials are calling the attack disgraceful. in san francisco hundreds of

looks like ticket master may have accidentally spilled the beans on a hockey game. the san jose sharks and los angeles kings have been expected to host an outdoor game but the location was not determined. last week ticket master was selling tickets for the two teams. there's been no comment from either team or the nhl. >> with all the excitement over levi's stadium making fans happen, many people got a chance to say goodbye to candle stick. 12,000 fans got tickets to the
